丁氧基乙醇應用於雷射及影印廢紙脫墨之探討

摘要


溶劑浮選脫墨法之原理係加溫具脫墨性之水及丁氧基乙醇之混合液超過臨界溶液溫度時,會產生分層效果,利用油墨比重之不同浮於各層而分離,其效果優於傳統之浮選脫墨技術。試驗選擇較難脫墨之辦公室廢紙為試材,試驗方法為利用通氣攪拌促使懸浮液各層分子分離,脫墨纖維過濾而分離,由影像分析測計手抄紙上殘餘油墨斑點之分布以為脫墨效率。實驗參數包括溶劑濃度、pH值、紙漿濃度、處理溫度及油墨類型等。由實驗結果得知雷射印表紙及影印廢紙以ph值12、紙漿濃度0.75%、溫度80°C、溶劑濃度20%時具最佳脫墨效果;基於經濟及環保上考量,本研究方法應可實際應用於紙廠之脫墨。

The principle of the solvent flotation de-inking is to use the mixture of water and 2-butoxyethanol (which is featured by its de-inking performance), when the mixture is heated over the critical solution temperature, a two-layered system in which containing separated ink particles will be formed. With the different densities of the ink, the solution will be easily separated into various layers. By using this technique, the ink removal will become more functional and efficient than the traditional ones. The hard removing ink in office wastepaper has been chosen in order to strdy the optimal deinking conditions such us; the concentration of solvent, alkalinity, pulp consistency, temperature, and the types of ink, etc. This results in the optimum deinking conditions for laser-printed and photocopy papers are: pH 12, pulp consistency 0.75%, temperature 80°C, and solvent concentration 20%. The butoxyehaol deinking method with its economical and environmental srotection advantages might offer great potential in papermaking industy.
