PU-NC Semi-IPNs本器塗科組成分之添加次序對其性質之影響

Effects of Components Adding Sequence on the Properties of PU-NC Semi-IPNs Wood Coatings

摘要


本研究係以吹製型篦麻油(BCO)、芳香族聚異氰酸鹽(PTDI)、硝化纖維素(NC)等為原料,在NCO/OH莫耳比為1.2,及各種PU/NC重量比為70β0、50/50及30/70之條件下,以連續聚合方式合成PU-NC半互穿聚合體網狀結構物(Semi-IPNs),作為木器塗料使用,探討組成分之添加次序對塗料及塗膜性質之影響。試驗結果發現,在相同PU/NC重量比之條件中,無論PU與NC的互穿效果,塗膜拉伸強度、硬度、耐光性、耐熱性及耐溶劑性等,均以NC與BCO先混合再添加PTDI者(即NC→BCO→PTDI),較先以BCO與PTDI反應後再添加NC者(即BCO→PTDI→NC)為佳,但2種不同添加次序Semi-IPNs之乾燥時間及膠化時間等塗料性質則無明顯區別。

The PU-NC semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (semi-IPNs) made from blown castor oil (BCO) based polyurethane (PU) and nitrocellulose (NC) under NCO/OH=1.2 (molar ratio) and PUINC=70/30, 50/50, 30/70 (by weight) respectively, were prepared by sequential polymerization method for wood coatings. To investigate the effects of adding sequence of components on the properties of PU-NC semi-IPNs wood coatings, two kinds of adding sequence were examined in this study. The results indicated that under the same formulations of PU-NC semi-IPNs, the degree of interpenetrating between PU and NC, tensile strength, hardness, lightfastness, heat resistance and solvent resistance of films of NC→BCO→PTDI sequence were better than those of BCO→PTDI→NC sequence, while the viscosity, drying time, and geltime of coatings, were not different significantly.
