摘要

本報告係探討目視分等標準應用於評估台灣杉造林木製材之強度性質。結果可歸納於次：1.依CNS13826造林木針葉樹製材分等標準進行分等者，其一等材（A）、二等材（B）出現頻率均較CNS14631框組壁工法製材分等標準進行分等者為高。2.CNS13826分等標準與CNS14631分等標準各等級內強度值之標準差、變異係數值，除三等材（C）外，均以前者較後者為小。3.台灣杉造林木製材依目視分等標準進行分等後，確實可看出不同等級間之差異性，製材分等標準有其存在價值。

Except the third grade timber, the standard deviation and variation coefficient of the strength property according to CNS13826 standard were smaller than those of CNS14631. 3. After using visual grading method, the difference between different grades of Taiwania timber could be established. Therefore, visual grading method was useful in timber grading.
