本研究係探討不同溫度(100、125、150、200及250°C)與時間(10、15及20 min)之加熱處理對竹材表面性質之影響與對塗膜附著性之改善效益。竹材為5年生之孟宗竹與麻竹,塗料採用市售硝化纖維素拉卡(NC拉卡),表面性質測定項目包括接觸角、SEM觀察、FTIR分析及顏色等,塗膜附著性則以180°剝離強度與拉伸剪斷強度評定之。試驗結果發現,孟宗竹加熱處理後之接觸角較未處理材者高,而麻竹者則相反之趨勢;加熱處理對孟宗竹表面的活性化較麻竹者更具效果;延長加熱處理時間雖然會增加兩種竹材之接觸角,但竹材表層基濃度亦會提高;整體而言,在兼顧竹材原本之綠色下,孟宗竹與麻竹以在125℃,分別處理15 min與10 min時可得最佳的附著性,且塗膜耐久性優良。
To develop a pretreatment method that improves the adhesion of coating films, a study of heating treatments on a bamboo surface was examined. Five year-old moso bamboo [Phyllostachys pubescens (Carr.) A. and C. Riv.], and ma bamboo (Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro), and coatings i.e. nitrocellulose lacquer were used in the study. Heating treatments including different temperatures (100, 125, 150,200, and 250 °C) and times (10, 15, and 20 min) were applied, respectively. Surface properties of bamboo suchas contact angle, SEM inspection, FTIR analysis, and color were evaluated, and 180℃ peel strength, and shear strength tests for measuring adhesion of coated films were used. The results indicated that the contact angle of heating treatedmoso bamboo were higher than that of untreated one, but that was on the contrary of ma bamboo. The surface activation of heating treated moso bamboo was more effects than that of ma bamboo. Meanwhile, the contact angle and concentration of carbonyl group of moso and ma bamboo were increasing by extending treated time. As a conclusion, for keeping a original green color of bamboo, the coated moso and ma bamboo had the best adhesion at the same treated temperature of 125℃, and the time of 15 and 10 min, respectively.
