碳化鎢鋼鋸片鋸切美耐板貼面MDF之齒尖磨耗性

The Wear Characteristics of Tungsten Carbide Tooth Tip in Sawing MDF Overlaid with Melamine Laminates

摘要


本研究主要探究端焊碳化鎢鋼鋸片鋸切貼面MDF之齒尖磨耗性,試驗時,將主軸轉數(3450 rpm)及送材速度(12 m/min)固定,然後量測不同鋸切材長(0, 84, 168, 336, 672, 1008, 1344, 1680 m)之齒尖磨耗量。試驗得知平刃齒之磨耗區集中於齒尖兩側,而三刃齒之磨耗區則為中間區域之齒尖,且平刃齒及三刃齒之齒尖後退量仍以間隙面較大;鋸切素面MDF之間隙面與斜度面磨耗相差不大,而鋸切貼面MDF時,間隙面磨耗明顯高於斜度面。此外,隨著鋸切材長之增加,齒尖磨耗增加,電功率亦直線上升,鋸切素面MDF之電功率消耗由新鋸齒之128.8 W提高至246.8 W,而鋸切貼面MDF則提高至363.8 W。SEM觀測更顯示磨耗鋸齒之角隅圓弧變大,且刀尖間隙面之磨耗區變寬。因此,鋸切貼面MDF之碳化鎢鋼鋸片宜加強齒尖間隙面之耐磨耗性。

This work is focused on developing an understanding of the wear mechanisms of tungsten carbide tipped saw blade in sawing melaming decorative laminates overlaid MDF (OMDF). The spindle speed (3450 rpm) and feed speed (12 m/min) were fixed during sawing OMDF. The worn edge was observed under various feeding lengths (0, 84, 168, 336, 672, 1008, 1344, 1680 m). Experimental results showed that worn edge was concentrated in two sides and center of tooth-tip for flat top tooth and trip chip tooth, respectively Meanwhile, the edge recession of clearance face was higher than that of rake face for flat top tooth and trip chip tooth. As for MDF, the edge recession was no significantly different between clearance face and rake face. On the other hand, the wear of clearance face was bigger than that of rake face after sawing OMDF. Furthermore, the power consumption was increased with the increasing of edge recession. The power consumption increased from 128.8 W to 246.8 W for MDF, and to 363.8 W for OMDF. It was observed by SEM that edge recession occurred predominantly on the comer and clearance face of the tooth. Therefore, it is suggested that the tips be strengthen on the clearance face in machining OMDF.
