木材化學組成對其活性碳性質之影響

Effects of Wood Composition on Its Properties of Activated Carbon

摘要


本研究係探討六種木材(木油桐、相思樹、台灣櫸、紅檜、台灣五葉松、台灣杉)化學組成及比重對於活性碳性質之影響。試驗結果顯示在活化溫度800℃,持溫時間120 min下,六種樹種中活性碳收率以紅檜最高(19.00%),其收率的高低與木質素和α纖維素含量有相關性,含量越高收率越高,且絕乾比重較低,收率也較低。六種樹種中活性碳之碘值以木油桐者在活化溫度800℃,持溫時間120 min下最高(1015.0 mg/g);碘值高低受絕乾比重影響,比重越低則碘值越高,越高則反之,且全纖維素含量越高,碘質也越高,越低則反之。不同樹種中活性碳之苯吸附值,在活化溫度800℃、持溫時間120 min條件下,以木油桐為最高(26.42%),其值高低受全纖維素含量的影響,含量越高苯吸附值越高,含量越低則反之。

The effects of chemical compositions and specific gravity of six wood species (Aleurites montana, Acacia confusa, Zelkova formosana, Chamaecyparis formosensis, Pinus morrisonicola and Taiwania cryptomerioides) on the properties of activated carbon were investigated. The experimental results are summarized as follows: At activation temperature 800℃ and holding time 120 min, the yield of C. formosensis activated carbon was the highest (19.00 %) among the six wood species. The yield of activated carbon was correlated with the sum of lignin and α- cellulose content, and also the level of oven dry specific gravity. Activated carbon of A. Montana prepared at 800℃, holding time 120 min had the highest iodine value (1015 mg / g), the level of iodine value was correlated with the holocellulose content but decreased with the increasing oven dried specific gravity of woods. Comparing the benzene adsorption of six activated carbon, A. Montana carbon activated at 800℃ and holding time 120 min showed the highest value(26.42 %), and the value was correlated with the holocellulose content, i.e. the higher the holocellulose content, the higher the benzene adsorption value.
