In this experiment, DIN EN118 standard method was used to evaluate the resistance of formosa termites (Coptotermes formosanus) by methanol extreacts from "Zanthoxylum ailanthoides" wood and "Sapindus mukorossi" fruits peel. After 30 days of observation, the results showed that the weight loss rates of wood blocks impregnated at 1% concentration methanol extract of "S. mukorossi" peel was 10.6%; and was 14.3% when impregnated in the extract of "Z. ailanthoides" wood, then for the control sample was 40.8%. The weight loss rate of treated wood blocks were both lower than that of control showing good effect to against the formosa termites.
