木質材料製備之生物炭應用對植物生長機制之探討

摘要


臺灣擁有豐富的森林資源,可轉換為可用之能源、綠色化學品及農業資材。由木質材料製成之生物炭,可應用於農業土壤改良以及環境保護,並具固碳功能。本文之目的即在介紹生物炭之定義與製備方式,並探討生物炭之物理及化學性質,及其添加於土壤中對植物生長之影響及機制,以期能建立木質材料再利用之技術,並可藉以提高國產木材之利用效率,達到臺灣森林永續經營之目的。

Taiwan is rich in forest resources. The forest products can be converted into energy, green chemicals and agricultural materials for wide application. The biochar from wood-based materials can be used in soil amendments, environmental protection and carbon sequestration. The main objectives of this study are to introduce the definition of biochar and its preparation methods, and to investigate the physical and chemical properties of biochar. The mechanisms of biochar added in the soil on plant growth are also reviewed in order to build a sustainable management forest in Taiwan through establishing re-use technology for woody biomass, and enhancing the utilization efficiency of domestic forest products.
