液化杉木/異氰酸酯/木材粒片製作低密度粒片板之性質

Properties of Low Density Particleboards Produced by Liquefied Cunninghamia lanceolata/Isocyanate/Wood Particles

摘要


本研究將杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata; China fir)以聚乙二醇-丙三醇(PEG-Glycerol)混合液為溶劑,H_2SO_4為催化劑,以150°C加熱90 min進行液化處理。所得液化杉木與異氰酸酯(PMDI、Desmodur L、Desmodur N)在NCO/(COOH+OH)之官能基莫耳比為1.5條件下混合,並添加水為發泡劑、有機矽氧烷為界面活性劑、二月桂酸二丁基錫為催化劑調配PU樹脂,再將此PU樹脂與麻六甲合歡粒片以重量1/1混合熱壓製作低密度粒片板,並探討不同製作條件所得粒片板之性質。由結果得知液化杉木/異氰酸酯/木材粒片應用於低密度粒片板製造時適宜採用熱壓方式。在未添加催化劑條件下,較高熱壓溫度或較長熱壓時間可獲得較佳之粒片板性質,添加催化劑則可降低所需之熱壓溫度並縮短熱壓時間。不同異氰酸酯比較,以PMDI為原料者有最佳之內聚強度及尺寸安定性。

China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) was liquefied in PEG-glycerol co-solvent with H_2SO_4 as a catalyst at 150°C for 90 min. The polyurethane resins (PU) were prepared by blending liquefied China fir with isocyanate, such as PMDI, Desmodur L and Desmodur N, with a molar ratio of NCO/(COOH+OH) of 1.5. The water, organosiloxane and dibutyltin dilaurate were added as a forming agent, surfactant and catalyst, respectively. The low density particleboards were made with the mixture of PU resin and wood particle of Albizia falcataria (Malacca albizzia) with a weight ratio of 1/1 by hot-pressed. The properties of particleboards that made with different conditions were investigated. The results showed that the hot-pressing process was more adequate for manufacturing low density particleboards which made with liquefied China fir, isocyanate and wood particles. Using a higher hot-pressing temperature or prolonging the hot-pressing time could get low density particleboards with better properties which were free of catalyst in PU resins. However, the hot-pressing temperature could be reduced and hot-pressing time could be shortened if catalyst was added. Comparison between different isocyanate, using PMDI as the raw material had the best internal bonding strength and dimensional stability.
