柳杉木醋液及其分離部作為植物生長促進劑之評估

Evaluation of Cryptomeria japonica Wood Vinegar and Its Fractions as Plant Growth Promoter

摘要


本研究係將柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica)以機械窯依升溫速率100℃/hr,加熱至500℃,並持溫1 hr製造粗木醋液,再將粗木醋液靜置3個月所得之木醋液,以乙醚、碳酸氫鈉溶液、硫酸溶液及氫氧化鈉溶液等藥劑,以分配法(Partition method)將木醋液分離成乙醚萃取木醋液及酸性、酚性與中性物質等分離部,分析乙醚萃取木醋液及各分離部對常用蔬菜之無絲小白菜(Brassica chinensis L)及半結球白菜(Brassica campestris L)種子發芽及胚根與胚軸生長之促進作用,評估柳杉木醋液及其分離部作為植物生長促進劑之可行性。試驗結果得知,稀釋10及10^2之乙醚萃取木醋液、酸性物質、酚性物質及中性物質均會完全抑制無絲小白菜及半結球白菜種子之發芽。而以稀釋10^5倍以上之乙醚萃取木醋液、酸性物質、中性物質確實具有類似植物荷爾蒙之效果,可促進種子發芽、胚根及胚軸生長之效果。

In this study, the crude wood vinegar was made from Cryptomeria japonica by using steel kiln heated to 500℃ under the heating rate of 100℃/hr and holding time of 1 hr. The ether-extracted wood vinegar and acidic, phenolic and neutral fractions were obtained from wood vinegar which has been kept for 3 months of the crude wood vinegar by partition method using ether, NaHCO_(3(aq)), H_2SO_(4(aq)) and NaOH_((aq)) as a chemical agent. The promotion of germination, growth of radical and hypocotyl of ether-extracted wood vinegar acidic, phenolic compounds and neutral fractions of Brassica chinensis L. and Brassica campestris L. seeds were examined for evaluating the feasibility of C. japonica wood vinegar and its fractions as a plant growth promoter. The experimental results indicated that the ether-extracted wood vinegars, acidic, phenolic and neutral fractions which were diluted 10 and 10^2 times could inhibit the germination of B. chinensis and B. campestris seeds. However the dilutions of ether-extracted wood vinegar acidic, and neutral fractions more than 10^5 times had an effect as plant hormone and could promote the germination and the growth of radical and hypocotyls of B. chinensis and B. campestris.
