摘要
甲醇可經口、皮膚或呼吸道攝入人體,引起中毒、失明或致死。我國化粧品衛生管理條例明訂含乙醇製品每100mL乙醇中含甲醇不得超過0.2mL（0.2%v/v以下）。故本局針對乙醇含量甚高之髮用噴霧劑是否有甲醇含量過高之情形進行調查，委由北高兩市及地方衛生局於90年4月至90年6月間，就轄區內美容專櫃、美容材料行、百貨公司及藥局等處抽樣計抽得51件檢體。利用氣相層析法進行甲醇之定性及定量分析,結果發現51件檢體中有4件不合格，檢出甲醇含量分別為86.8%、82.0%、0.96%、0.89%，不合格率佔7.8%。經檢查外包裝標示，不符合化粧品衛生管理條例第六條規定及行政院衛生署公告者共11件。不合格及標示不符規定者，均已送交地方衛生機關，依違反化粧品衛生管理條例之規定予以行政處理。

Methanol can be taken into human body through mouth, skin, or respiratory tract; it can cause poisoning, blindness, or death. According to the hygienic regulations of R.O.C., the content of methanol in the cosmetics may not exceed 0.2ml of 100ml (less than 0.2%). Fifty-one samples of hair spray were examined and the analysis results showed that four of the fifty-one samples, i.e. 7.8%, violated the regulations. The results also showed that 11 samples violated the labeling regulations. The study result highly suggested that the current regulations required to be strengthened.
