恆春半島天然植群分類系統

Natural Vegetation Classification System of the Hengchun Peninsula

摘要


本研究目的為將恆春半島內各植群型整合成區域性之分類單位,經蒐集恆春半島內過去植群文獻,並對部份缺乏資料之地區進行實地調查,以區域性尺度進行恆春半島天然植群分類系統的建置與命名,作為未來建構國家植群分類系統與植群圖繪製所需之資料。本次恆春半島地區的植群樣區資料有265個樣區,其中文獻樣區181個與野外取得的84個樣區,共計421種植物。本研究採二階段植群分析,第一階段透過降趨對應分析及雙向指標種分析初步分成6群。再各別進行雙向指標種分析,並將所得的組合樣區,經列表比較法進行第二階段分析,計算各物種對各組合樣區的u(下標 hyp)值,作為每一分類單位鑑別種群判斷的依據,並以歐陸學派的分類系統作為建立該區域的分類層級及單位。本區植群的分布主要受海拔及地形的影響,共計分出6個群級、8個群集、11個群團、15個群叢。每一分類階層均有其特定的鑑別種群,並將群級與群集納入以形相為依據的分類單元。

This study presents integrated regional scaled units for classification of natural vegetation in the Hengchun Peninsula. Vegetation data were collected from literatures and field surveys conducted in regions lacking adequate information. The results can be used as reference to develop the framework of national vegetation classification system and future vegetation mapping for Taiwan. Among 265 sampling plots, including 84 field plots and 181 plots from literatures, 421 species were recorded. The classification mothdology was based on two-step vegetation analysis. In the first step, the plot data were divided into 6 groups using detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) and two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN). Each of these 6 groups was further classified by TWINSPAN method. In the second step, the composite samples resulted from the first step were classified by a tabular comparison method, and the fidelities and u(subscript hyp) of all species to the composite samples were calculated. For each classification unit the diagnostic species were identified. The hierarchy vegetation classification system was developed based on floristic-sociological of Braun-Blanquet approach. The vegetation distributions of the region were significantly correlated with altitude and topography. This system identified 6 classes, 8 orders, 11 alliances, and 15 associations. The classes and orders of the system were then grouped into classification units based on physiognomy.
