炭化溫度500℃牛糞活性碳對銅離子吸附之研究

Study on Copper Ion Adsorption of Cattle Manure Activated Carbon by Carbonization Temperatures 500°C

摘要


本研究以牛糞為原料於500℃下炭化,然後分別在750、800、850℃三種溫度及以水蒸氣活化法製備活性碳,進而探討其吸附水中銅金屬離子之性能。結果顯示,牛糞活性碳之表面結合之羧基(0~0.012 m mol/g)、內酯基(0.007 ~ 0.038 m mol/g)、酚基 (0.031~0.117 m mol/g )等酸性官能基含量偏低,而鹼基含量則較高介於0.597~1.032 mmol/g之間。此外,從界面電位知,牛糞活性碳於水溶液中pH 3~7之間其表面均帶負電荷,有利於吸附帶正電荷之金屬離子。牛糞活性碳在不同時間內對銅之吸附變化,以活化溫度800℃製備者於48 h時達最高吸附量30.32 mg/g。不同初始濃度吸附銅金屬離子溶液之試驗亦以活化溫度800℃製備者於初始濃度80 ppm時可得到最高平衡吸附量32.52 mg/g。

In this study, activated carbons were prepared with steam activation from cattle manure at carbonization temperatures 500°C and by different activation temperatures (750, 800 and 850°C). The ability of copper adsorption of those activated carbons from aqueous solutions had been investigated. The results showed that the content of acidic surface functional groups such as carboxyl groups (0~0.012 m mol/g), lactonic groups (0.007~0.038 m mol/g) and phenolic groups (0.031~0.117 m mol/g) were lower on cattle manure-made activated carbon, but basic groups were higher between 0.597~1.032 m mol/g. Zeta potential demonstrated that the surface of cattle manure-made activated carbon at pH 3-7 was with negative charge. It is conducive to adsorption of positive charge metal ion. The Cu (II) adsorption experiments of different time showed that cattle manure activated carbon prepared at activation temperature 800°C had highest adsorption amount of copper by 48 h (30.32 mg/g). Cu (II) adsorption experiments by different initial concentration displayed that the equilibrium adsorption capacity of cattle manure activated carbon at activation temperature 800℃was 80 ppm (32.52 mg/g).
