對高岳紅檜生態保育區預定地之大樹及稀有珍貴植物調查

The Investigation of Giant Trees and Rare and Valuable Plants in Proposed Taiwan Red Cypress Ecological Conservation Area of Duigaoyue

摘要

為籌設「對高岳紅檜生態保育區」，本研究於2016年至南投縣信義鄉鹿林前山至自忠山一帶之稜線北側對高岳地區，進行維管束植物調查，同時以胸高直徑大於100 cm之大徑木為主要調查對象。共記錄317種維管束植物、12種珍稀植物、大樹99株， 以紅檜、臺灣雲杉、臺灣赤楊、大葉石櫟等樹種為主。本調查結果可提供未來設置為「對高岳紅檜生態保育區」參考，並進行生物多樣性之研究及提供自然教育推廣，同時可維護生物多樣性。

For planning to set up ＂Taiwan Red Cypress Ecological Conservation Area of Duigaoyue＂, which is located in Xinyi Township, Nantou County, an investigation was conducted in Mar.- Dec., 2016. In total, 317 vascular plants, including 12 rare plants, and 99 giant trees (DBH ＞ 100 cm) were recorded, including Chamaecyparis formosensis, Picea morrisonicola, Alnus formosana, Pasania kawakamii, and so on. The proposed Taiwan Red Cypress Ecological Conservation Area of Duigaoyue should be conserved in order to maintain biodiversity to provide ecological research and natural education.
