稉型糯稻新品種台稉糯1號之育成

摘要

台稉糯1號為本場嘉義分場新育成之稉型糯稻新品種，原品系名稱為台南糯育7號，為針對豐產、米質及加工品質優良、抗病蟲害等目標而育成。本品種係民國71年第1期作先以抗病蟲害強及米質優良之嘉農育252號與早熟、米質優良之糯稻品系台南早系148號雜交。民國72年第1期作復以其第2代為母本，與抗稻熱病、抗褐飛蝨、強稈及抗倒伏之品系台南早系174號為父本雜交，於民國74年第1期作選出。經各級產量比較試驗、全省區域試驗、耐肥性測驗及各項農藝特性調查、病蟲害檢定、米質分析及加工品質試驗等，顯示其特性為豐產，對多種病害具抵抗性、米質優良、加工品質及食味佳、植株中等、強稈不易倒伏、肥效性佳、脫粒性適中，生育日數第1期作較台中糯70號早熟6天，第2期作早熟12天。民國79年6月經農林廳召集之作物新品種命名登記審查小組審查通過，准予登記命名繁殖推廣，為適合兩期作田栽培之優良稉型糯稻新品種。

Chiayi Branch Station of the Tainan District Agricultural Improvement Station released a new japonica type of glutinous rice variety ”Taikeng Glutinous 1” in june, 1990. The variety was originated from the cross between Chianung Yu 252 and Tainan Tsao Shi 148 in 1982. One F progeny was selected and further crossed with Tainan Tsao Shi 174 in 1983. A breeding line with the name of Tainan Glutinous Yu 7 was selected in 1985 from the pedigrees of the second cross for further experiment. Preliminary, advanced and the regional yield trials, as well as screening tests for resistance to the key pests and evaluation of agronomic characteristics were conducted between 1985 and 1990. Finally, ”Tainan Glutinous Yu 7” was named as ”Taikeng Glutinous 1” in June, 1990. The variety is characterized with the merits of high yielding, resistance to lodging, good grain and eating quality, suitable shattering rate, moderate resistance to rice blast, bacterial blight and stripe virus. The variety matured 6 days earlier than Taichung Glutinous 70 in the first crop and 12 days earlier in the second crop.
