Research on the Utilization and Demand of Agricultural Films in Tainan District

摘要

本研究是以臺南區農業改良場轄區內（雲嘉南地區）之農民為對象，利用問卷調查方式來瞭解農民獲取知識的管道、電視的收看頻率、影片需求類別、程度與應用情形，及對政府製作農業宣導教材片的意見等，以作為本場錄製農業影片之參考。調查結果發現“電視報章”是農民獲得農業訊息最重要的管道，而“看報章雜誌”則是農閒時最常做的消遣。農民平均每日看電視時間為2.21小時，有95%農民看過農業有關的電視節目，且幾乎所有受訪者認為應該有農業頻道的存在。“新聞報導類”節目是農民的最愛，而最希望收看的農業節目內容則是“生產技術與新品種介紹”。知道政府有製播農業影片者有82.9%，收看過者佔89.1%，收看的場合以電視播出最多，並且幾乎所有受訪者都認為政府有繼續從事農業影片製作的必要。有89%農民肯定這些資訊對營農技能的幫助，佔農民農業知識來源約在20～30%之間。青年農民由“電視報章”獲得農業知識的反應明顯高於中老年農民，專業農民由“雜誌”獲得農業知識的反應則明顯高於兼業農民，並且專業青年農民由“大眾傳播媒體”得知農業宣導片播出的反應也明顯大於其他族群。

This research is conducted by sending questionnaires to farmers in Tainan district including Yun-lin, Chia-yi and Tainan areas. Some questions are included in the questionnaire to realized the channels they obtain agricultural news, the rate and contents of watching TV, what topic they desire to watch, what benefit they can gain from watching agricultural films, and their attitude of government producing agricultural films. The result shows that television and newspaper are the most important channel to obtain agricultural news, while reading newspaper is the most common activity in leisure time. The average time for watching TV is 2.21 hours/ day. 95% of farmers have ever seen agricultural programs, and almost everyone supports the existence of ”agricultural channel”. ”News” program is farmers' favorite, and ”production technology & new variety introduction” is the most desired topic to watch. 82.9% of farmers knew that government involve in producing agricultural films, and who ever watched accounted for 89.1%. Most farmers saw these films in TV, and almost everyone agree that government should continue in agricultural films making. 89% of farmers say these films are beneficial to their farming, and accounted 20∼30% of their agricultural knowledge source. Young farmers report higher rate of gaining agri-news from television & newspaper than old farmers. Full-time farmers are significantly higher than part-time farmers in obtaining agricultural knowledge from magazine. Full-time young farmers are also significantly higher in aware of government-produced agricultural films from media than other groups.
