To study the vase quality of Eustoma cut flower, were tested with preservatives (1-MCP+6% sucrose)with different harvest maturity and simulated transport. The harvesting maturity, 2 flowers develop mental stage were the optimal. The low temperature simulated transport (5℃ 7days), including vase life was extended to 11.9 days. Under different storage conditions, simulated transport (11℃ 7days), the vase life of the flowers transported by water and water-free were 9.3 and 8.7 days respectively. Thus, water saturation is suggested for delivery. In another simulated transportation (2℃ 7days), which has no significant difference was found between the vas life of flowers transported with and without water. But flowers saturated with water had a better opening rate. Hence, it is suggested to transport flowers in water-free packages at 2℃.
