櫻花鈎吻鮭棲地之水溫現況及遭遇氣候變遷下之可能衝擊

摘要


七家灣溪是櫻花鉤吻鮭碩果僅存的棲地,在域外放流尚未成功之前,瞭解棲地現況及在未來可能遭遇的衝擊成為當前最重要的課題。本研究團隊整理了過去在七家灣溪觀測及模擬的研究成果,發現氣候變遷下流量極端化,導致輸砂量增加;氣溫升高,導致適合櫻花鉤吻鮭生存的棲地範圍縮減;水質的在集水區內的變化與人搞活動有絕對的關係,以上發現均可做為有關當局保育的參考依據。

The ChiChiaWan Creek would be the only habitat for Formosan Landlocked Salmon before the success of reintroduction to new habitats. Hence, it is crucial to understand the current habitat conditions and possible future impacts. This paper illustrated our previous monitoring and modeling results. Under climate changes, water discharge would become extremely wet and dry and the amount of sediment transport would be hence increased. Furthermore, increasing air temperature might lead to degradation of suitable habitats. Water quality within the watershed showed significantly positive correlation with the human disturbances. Theses findings will be valuable information for the authorities in charge of animal welfare.
