Experiments were conducted to find out the labor-saving cultural methods for producing deformation radish root as ornamentation and enjoyment. The radish cultivator Kang-Baku was used. Cultural treatments such as mulching black-silver color of PE film on ridge surface, seedling raising methods, planting hole treatments and irrigation methods were involved in experiments. Results showed that drip irrigation not only saved water use and labors cost but also significantly increased in percentage of seedlings establishment and root weight. Mulching with black-silver color of PE film on ridge surface could reduce weeds multiplication and significantly increase root weight. Transplanting 10-14 day-old seedling could stimulate branching of basical roots and produce deformation roots regardless of raising seedling methods.
