Determination of Arsenic in Urine and Whole Blood by Hydride Atomic Absobption Specorhotmetry

摘要


本研究乃在尋求以氫化法原子吸收光譜測定尿液和全血中極微量砷含量之最適條件。檢體中之砷還原成氫化物後輸送至原子吸收光譜儀上之石英爐加以分析。本法每小時可分析60件試樣“其絕對偵測極限為3.9ng,靈敏度為5.9ng,本法並應用於NBS標準參考物質之分析,其結果如下:蕃茄葉,0.14±0.04μg/g;米粉,0.30±0.02μg /g;金針,0.23±0.02μg。顯示分析之可靠性十分優良。本法並分析100名正常人之尿中砷,其平均值為63.4±29.7μg/μ ,範圍為9-120μg/μ。沒有性別上之差異。31名正常人之全血含砷量為13.4±2•9ng/m,分佈範圍為 5.8-20.5ng/m。

Optimal conditions of hydride atomic absorption spectrophotometry are described for the determination of ultratrace levels of arsenic in urine and whole blood. The arsine is produced from the samples by the addition of a reducing agent, sodium borohydride, and passed to a quartz furnace mounted in the light path of an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The method will analyze 60 samples an hour with an absolute detection limit of 3.9 ng . The sensitivity is 5.9 ng for producing l % absorption. With the described procedure , the arsenic found in various National Bureau Standard (NBS) Standards was as follows (in ug/g dry material) : tomato leaves, 0.14±0.04 : rice flour, 0.30±0.02 ; pine needles, 0.23±0.02. It indicates this method of analysis is reliable. The normal value for urinary arsenic of 100 healthy adults is 63.4±29.7ug/1 with a range of 9-120ug /1. No significant variety was found between the different sexes. The mean value of 31 blood samples is 13.4±2.9 ng / ml with a range of 5.8-20.5 ng / ml.
