以冷蒸氣及氫化原子吸收光譜法測定尿中汞及砷濃度之研究

Determination of Mercury and Arsenic Concentrations in Urine by Cold Vapor and Hydride Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry

摘要


本研究係以尿中微量元素為分析對象。以所建立的方法共測定10名碱氯作業員和50名正常人之尿中汞含量,及21名電弧爐煉鋼工場,17名砂工場作業員和50名正常人之尿中砷含量。綜合以上所測定的結果得以下結論:正常人尿中汞含量平均值為7.9±3.9μg/1。碱氯作業員之尿中汞含量平均值為15.6±15.6 μg/1,比控制組呈明顯升高 (p<0.001)。正常人尿中砷含量平均值為21.7±5.4μg/1。電弧爐煉鋼工場作業員之尿中砷含量平均值為60.0±26.2μg/1,比控制組呈明顯升高 (p<0.001)。砂模工場作業員之尿中砷含量平均值為72.4±16.8μg/1,比控制組呈明顯升高 (p<0.001)。 本結果顯示台灣地區最大汞及砷污染源之碱氯廠及鋼鐵生產工廠,其作業員有汞及砷中毒之潛在可能,工場作業環境確有改善的必要。

Mercury and arsenic trace elements as found in urine were investigated in the present study. Mercury concentrations in the urine of 10 workers in a chlor-alkali plant and 55 normal controls were determined by CVAAS. The normal control was 7.9±3.9μg/1. The arithmetic means of the value of 〔Hg〕 in workers in a chlor-alkali plant were 15.6±15.6μg/1, which were significantly higher than those of the normal control (p<0.001). Arsenic concentrations in the urine of 21workers in a melting furnace plant together with 17 workers in the molding plant and 55 normal controls were determined by HAAS. The normal controls were 21.7±5.4μg/1. The arithmetic means of the values of 〔As〕in melting furnace plant workers were 60.0±26.2μg/1, which were significantly higher than those of the normal controls (p<0.001). The arithmetic means of 〔As〕of workers a molding plant were 72.4±16.8μg/1. And were also significantly higher than those of the normal controls (p<0.001). From the analytical results obtained, it is indicated that there exists a potential risk of mercury and arsenic intoxication to workers in both chlor-alkali plants, and iron and steel production plants. This strongly indicates the need for an immediate improvement in industrial hygiene for such plants.
