A Variable Step Maximum Power Point Tracking for Photovoltaic Power System

太陽能電力系統變步長最大功率追蹤

摘要


基於能源短缺與二氧化碳減量之需求,太陽能發電具長期經濟效益而受重視。利用光伏特電池獲取太陽光能是目前極為普遍的途徑,但光伏特電池具非線性特性且與環境參數息息相關,因此本文基於光伏特電池即時系統狀態提出一變步長自動調整法,藉由直流-直流轉換器之調變來達成最大功率輸出之需求。模擬與實際系統測試均顯示本方法之實用與強健性。

Solar energy has received wide interest due to the shortage of energy and CO2 reduction requirement. Electricity conversion is especially interested in the study of solar energy using photovoltaic (PV) cell. PV cell is a nonlinear power device depending on various factors. In this paper, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm is proposed using variable step hill-climbing algorithm. The MPPT was achieved by detecting the fluctuations of PV in associate with a switching converter. The algorithm was validated through numerical simulation and experimental study.
