Analysis on Coining Process of Magnesium Alloy Sheet

鎂合金板材壓印製程成形性之研究

摘要


本研究主要探討AZ31鎂合金板件熱間壓印之熱鍛成形性, 首先利用有限元素分析軟體DEFORM進行模擬,所考慮之各種製程參數包括加熱溫度、沖頭速度、溢料邊厚度和摩擦因子等。藉由製程參數之改變探討鎂合金板材在壓印成形時所需負荷之差異性。另外進行鎂合金壓印之熱鍛實驗,將DEFORM之分析結果與熱鍛實驗結果進行比較,所得之結論為鍛造之成品變形狀況及鍛造負荷與模擬之結果相近,故可確認本文所建立之DEFORM之模擬模式有相當準確性。最後藉由硬度試驗及金相觀察,來評估鎂合金壓印成品,在不同的溫度下對於鍛造零件之強度及顯微組織之影響。

This study investigates the formability of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet under hot coining process, it is mainly used in the production of mobile phone shell. Finite element software, DEFORM, is applied to simulate the forming behaviors. The process parameters considered in this study are heating temperature of the sheet, punch speed, flash thickness and constant friction factor. The variation of forming loads under coining process are discussed due to the change of process parameters. Besides, coining experiments are carried out, the results are compare with the DEFORM simulation. The obtained coining loads and formed shapes are in good agreement with the experimental results. The validity of the simulation model established in this study can be confirmed. Finally, from the measurement of hardness and metallographic observation simulation strain distribution of coined part, the influence of forming temperatures on the strengths and microstructures of magnesium alloy under coining process can be evaluated.
