Numerical and Experimental Research on the Characteristics of Air Filter in Diesel Locomotive

內燃機車空氣過濾器性能模擬與實驗研究

摘要


Multi-cyclone axial filter made of certain single axial-cyclone filter is effectively used in the diesel locomotive and could guarantee the locomotive run safe in sand and dust weather condition. In this paper, the eight and four blades cyclone filters' flow resistance characteristics and the dust filtration efficiency have been got by CFD and experimental methods. The results fit well with the error of 7.2% and 8.6%, which indicated that this design could satisfy engineering demand and the standard k-ε method could predict the resistance characteristics accurately, therefore the four blades cyclone filter is a better choice.

直流式旋風過濾器是有效應用於內燃機車的進氣過濾裝置,可以保證內燃機車在沙塵等惡劣天氣條件下安全運行。過濾器由以一定方式排列的直流式旋風子組成,本文完成了8 葉和4 葉直流旋風子流場的數值模擬以及阻力特性和沙塵過濾效率的實驗。結果表明:8 葉和4 葉旋風子阻力特性的計算值與實驗值均吻合良好,額定流量下的相對誤差為7.2%和8.6%,可以較好地滿足工程設計要求,即選用的標準k-ε 模型可以較為準確地給出旋風子的阻力特性;4 葉旋風子的阻力特性和過濾效率要優於8 葉旋風子
