血液透析後感染性廢棄物之減重專案

Project of Weight Reduction of Used Hollow Fibers and Tubes after Hemodialysis

摘要


洗腎室感染性廢棄物重量主要來自透析後的人工腎臟、迴路管及透析廢液,其中存留在管路內的廢血水約佔重.29~.31kg,為了減輕透析後人工腎臟及迴路管的重量,本單位自2003年10月1日至2004年06月30日增設了排放廢血水管路裝置及制定標準操作流程,以排空管內廢血水達減重目的。整個標準化操作流程執行完整率達97.9%,專案改善前感染性廢棄物的重量平均每個人次1.39kg,專案改善後平均每個人次感染性廢棄物的重量已降至1.1kg,平均每個人次減少.29kg,可降低單位感染性廢棄物處理成本達21%。此專案除了確實執行標準化操作流程外,持續推展對感染性廢棄物減量及降低處理費用具有經濟效益。

The main weight of infectious waste in hemodialysis unit comes from hollow fibers, tubes and dialysate used for hemodialysis. Among them, the residual fluid, including blood and water within hollow fibers and tubes is about .29-.31kg. In order to reduce the weight of hollow fibers and tubes after hemodialysis, from October 12003 to June 302004, we designed a drainage system of waste fluid, as well as a standard operative process to clear blood and water retained within used hollow fibers and tubes. The executive rate of all standard operative process achieved 97.9%. The average weight of infectious waste lowered to 1.1kg per person, while that of before project was 1.39kg per person. The average waste weight reduction of .29kg per person saved 21% of the cost of infectious waste processing. In addition to the establishment of standard operative process, this project is cost-effective in reducing the amount and processing fee of infectious waste.
