The article discusses a non-small cell lung cancer patient's mental, physical and nursing problems after the lobectomy. According to Gordon's functional evaluation, the author detected to observation interviews and physical assessments that the patient suffered from impaired gas exchange, acute pain, knowledge deficit, potential risk for infection and anxiety problems while the patient stayed in the RCU. Over the course of nursing beside the nursing support, the patient and his family scheduled recovering pulmonary rehabilitative exercise together after the surgery, not only to help the patient overcome the pressure and problems of the disease, but also establish an exercise plan for the basis of future health.
