加護病房資訊系統發展成功的關鍵因素
Critical Success Factor to Develop Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Information System

To implement Intensive Care Unit (ICU) information system is more challenging than other clinical systems. This article points out that the driving force for system implementation comes from clinical and management needs. The concept of ”Clinical Performance” could be used to measure the impact of implementing system. Cases were reviewed to discuss the critical success factors of projects and the importance of continuous evaluation after implementation. The capability of clinical professionals is more important in determining the success of projects than that of ICT personnel.
