Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, thus toxic gas poisoning happened often without patients realizing it. Health care workers must understand the reasons for carbon monoxide poisoning, the physiological mechanism, and acute symptoms and complications. But more importantly, they must assist in the clinical care of patients and their families, helping them to understand the purpose of carbon monoxide poisoning hyperbaric oxygen therapy and the complications involved. Furthermore, early assessment of patients with neurological symptoms such as anxiety and implementation of nursing care measures, also helped to enhance a better quality of nursing care for patients.
