光碟護理指導與一對一護理指導正確性之比較-以南部某醫學中心產婦坐姿母乳哺餵為例

Comparison of Correctness between Individual Teaching with and Without Video Demonstration of Maternal Breastfeeding in the Sitting Position: Experience of a Medical Center in Southern Taiwan

摘要


本研究之目的為探討產後以光碟護理指導與一對一護理指導對坐姿母乳哺餵正確性之比較。採類實驗法,以產後行母乳哺餵無併發症之產婦為研究對象,先收40位作為對照組,後再收32位作為實驗組。研究工具以坐姿母乳哺餵光碟輔助一對一護理指導對產婦進行母乳哺餵教學,並以坐姿母乳哺餵姿勢觀察表來評價正確性及護理人員衛教次數。研究結果顯示產婦於產後接受母乳哺餵光碟衛教輔助一對一護理指導教學其母乳哺餵正確性未高於對照組,且護理人員衛教次數未能顯著減少,表示護理人員在指導有關操作性衛教方面,光碟衛教方式無法取代臨床一對一之護理指導。本研究結果可以提供給醫療院所在規劃孕期母乳哺餵教育有關實際操作層面課程之參考,以提升母乳持續哺餵率。

Background: Nursery education is crucial for postnatal maternal breastfeeding. The objective of this study was to compare the correctness between individual teaching with and without video demonstration of maternal breastfeeding in the sitting position. Methods: Pregnant women who were admitted to our ward and willing to breastfeed were enrolled. Those with postnatal complications were excluded. Maternal breastfeeding in the sitting position was individually taught by nurses with and without video demonstration. An observation sheet was used to record the correctness and times of nursery education. The women in the control group received individual teaching by nurses, and those in the intervention group received video demonstration in addition to individual teaching. Results: Between January and July 2014, a total of 40 women in a control group and 32 women in an intervention group were assessed. The results showed that the correctness of the intervention group was not superior to that of the control group. In addition, the duration of nursery education in the intervention group did not decrease. Conclusions: In this study, individual teaching by nurses could not be replaced by video demonstration during operational health education. The result of our study might provide reference for other hospitals planning postnatal breastfeeding education and increase the rate of prolonged breastfeeding.
