初診斷乳癌病人術前焦慮之多媒體衛教效果初探

A preliminary study on the effect of multimedia education for pre-operative anxiety of patients with early diagnosis of breast cancer

目的:乳癌病人經確診為乳癌之後,將面對罹癌事實並承受手術治療之心理壓力,因而容易產生術前焦慮。本研究探討多媒體衛教運用之效果。方法:本研究採類實驗研究設計,收案期間自民國106年1月1日起,至民國107年3月31日止。收案對象為接受乳房切除術的60位病人,分成接受傳統常規衛教對照組30名病人,以及接受傳統常規衛教合併多媒體衛教實驗組30名病人。針對初診斷接受乳房切除術病人,比較對照組與實驗組兩者術前焦慮程度的差異。結果:對照組與實驗組在焦慮量表上的總分無顯著差異,但在焦慮量表個別題目上,有五題有顯著差異。結果顯示,傳統常規衛教合併多媒體衛教的實驗組比僅有傳統常規衛教的對照組,可降低部分焦慮的效果。結論:對於初診斷乳癌病人而言,傳統常規衛教合併多媒體衛教較具有情緒穩定效果。

Objectives: After a diagnosis of breast cancer, patients would be more likely to experience preoperative anxiety due to the fact of having cancer and the pressure of operations. In this study, the effect of multimedia education was examined. Methods: This study adopted a quasi-experimental design, and data collection started from January 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. The subjects who underwent a mastectomy for breast cancer were 60 patients. There were 30 patients who accepted traditional routine education in the control group and 30 patients who accepted traditional routine education combined with multimedia in the experimental group respectively. For the patients who were initially diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a mastectomy, the difference of anxiety scale between control group and experimental group was compared. Results: This study found no significant difference in total questions, but significant differences in five individual questions between the control group and experimental group. This result showed that traditional routine education combined with multimedia would have partial effects of anxiety reduction for pre-operative breast cancer patients. Conclusions: The conclusion was that traditional routine education combined with multimedia would have the effects of emotional stability for pre-operative breast cancer patients.
