To survive in the knowledge economy, nonprofits must perform effectively the knowledge management. This paper proposed the management models for the knowledge-based nonprofits as the opportunities in the knowledge economy. The proposed models are: customer orientation in strategic planning, knowledge-creating orientation in organizing, orientation of providing incentives to favor the knowledge creating in the structuring the organization, orientation of equally emphasizing the tacit and explicit knowledge, and orientation of flexible using the modem technologies. Finally, this paper proposed the strategy to manage the knowledge in the nonprofits.
