數位台灣計畫推動現況與展望
e-Taiwan Program: Achievements and Future Prospects
摘要
為因應世界e化大趨勢，解決國內資訊應用與資訊産業面臨的挑戰，行政院科技顧問組規劃完成「數位台灣計畫」，計分600尤戶寬頻到家、e化生活、e化商務、e化政府、e化交通五大分項，共41項計畫。運用資訊與通訊科技，建立高效能政府，提昇産業競爭力，建構高品質資訊社會，創造智慧運輸環境，以加速帶領台灣邁向知識經濟，實現高科技服務島的理想，並成為亞洲最e化國家之一。數位台灣計畫經相關部會的努力，已初具成效。依據世界經濟論壇有關資訊化社會與電子化政府的評比，我國皆名列前予，超出年度預期目標。相信在政府與産學研各界的努力下，未來數位台灣計畫必能順利推展，達成既定目標，台灣在經濟發展、基礎建設與資訊應用方面創造出具體效益。

To respond to the global trend of digital revolution and meet the challenge to Taiwan's information industry and domestic IT applications, the Science & Technology Advisory Group (STAG), Executive Yuan (Cabinet) has developed the ”e-Taiwan Program” that consists of five main frameworks: infrastructure, e-Society, e-Government, e-Industry, and e-Transportation, covering a total of 41 major projects. The program will utilize the information and communications technologies (ICT) to establish a high-efficiency government, promote industrial competitiveness, create an intelligent transportation environment, and build up a high-quality information society, so as to quicken the tempo of leading Taiwan toward the new era of knowledge-based economy, realizing the ideal for a high-tech service island, and becoming one of the most advanced e-nations in Asia. Through efforts from related agencies, the c-Taiwan Program has already accomplished some primary results. According to the evaluation in the field of ”Networked Readiness Index” in the Global Information Technology Report released by the WEF, Taiwan was ranked among some top positions in the world, exceeding our yearly target. We believe that through the collaboration of governmental, industrial and academic efforts the e-Taiwan Program will progress smoothly to achieve our specific goals and hence bring benefits to Taiwan's economic development national infrastructure ad IT applications.
