借鏡巴西庫里奇巴－永續發展的典範城市

摘要

庫里奇巴市以自創的城市公共運輸系統揚名於世，同時亦以其在永續發展整體規劃方面諸多建樹而廣受推崇。本文以庫里奇巴都市的發展特色做一介紹，同時說明其永續做法的特有創意，尤其是有「地面捷運」美稱的巴士捷運系統。庫市的卓越成就，歸功於該市政府將永續觀念納入長期都市規劃中且切實有效的執行，執行過程也充分教育民眾，促成市民的積極參與。庫市的永續策略與做法其值得我國城市借鏡。

Curitiba city has long been well-known for its unique bus rapid transit system. This Brazil city was also famous for its integrated urban planning and various social planning measures. This article introduces some features of Curitiba's city development and its creative sustainable development strategies, especially the so-called ”surface subway” system. The excellence achieved by Curitiba was due to its authority's successful integration of its city planning with the policies of sustainable development and its effective implementation with full citizens participation. Curitiba set an examplar for our local authorities who are striving for building a better living environment.
