摘要

國家圖書館為全國出版品之法定送存機關，應徵集、整理及典藏全國圖書資訊；同時是政府出版品完整寄存圖書館，有永久保存一份政府出版品，並提供閱覽、參考諮詢、館際合作及讀者服務之職責，為因應政府資訊公開政策及電子化政府之推動，無論是蒐藏政府文獻，或是進行相關政府資訊之數位化作業，都已是既定之館藏發展及館務發展要項，日後更當加強與各政府機關合作，發揮圖書館知識管理之專業特長，整合多方政府資訊與網路資源，提供更優質之政府資訊服務。

In accordance with the Library Law, the National Central Library maintains a complete collection of new publications of the ROC. And be acquired ROC government publications directly from the publishing agencies. Due to the government policy act, and to meet the needs of the Information Age, the National Central Library has made great efforts not only in collecting government publications but also in digitizing these documents and established its database and network system. It will be provided to the public better service quality of the government information.
