摘要
本文調整Katz and Tokatlidu（1996）的兩階段集團競租競賽架構（twostagegroup rent-seeking contest structure），透過進一步將現實世界中不同競租集團之成員，在競租能力以及對於競租標的之評價等兩方面皆可能有所不同的情況納入考慮，建構一個異質性集團競租分析模型，並以此模型為基礎進行競租分析。全文討論焦點為探究集團在競租能力與租利評價上的差異因素，對於社會競租浪費程度的可能影響效果。不同於一些既有文獻關於競租者（團體）異質性的擴大將會使得社會競租浪費水準下降的分析發現，本文的分析結果顯示，競租集團異質性的擴大，在某些情況下可能會增加社會競租浪費水準。這提醒我們在從事社會競租浪費水準的評估與分析時，應特別注意上述集團相互差異程度與社會競租浪費水準之間的不確定關係。

This paper adjusts the model of two-stage group rent-seeking contest in Katz and Tokatlidu (1996). We take into consideration the probable heterogeneity groups in their ability to win and their evaluation of rent, and conduct heterogeneous group rent-seeking analysis. We focus our discussion on the impact of the differences in the groups' rent-seeking ability and evaluation of rent on social rent-seeking waste. Our finding of the increase in groups' heterogeneity may increase social rent-seeking waste is different from some existing studies which find that the increase in rent-seekers' (groups') heterogeneity will reduce the social rent-seeking waste.
