Preparation of Cobalt Ferrite and Metal Oxide Nanoparticles in the Microemulsions of Cetyltrimethylammonium p-Toluene Sulfonate

本論文提出一個包含Cetyltrimethylammonium p-toluene sulfonate兩性界面活性劑之微乳液系統,用來製備混合金屬氧化物(CoFe2O4)及單一之金屬氧化物(ZnO、CdO、NiO)之奈米粒子。所製得之CoFe2O4粒子平均粒徑為20~40 nm,而所製得之單一金屬氧化物粒子平均粒徑為40~90nm。這些奈米粒子的特性可利用XRD及SEM加以鑑定。

A new inverse microemulsion system containing a zwitterionic surfactant, cetyltrimethyl-ammonium p-toluene sulfonate, was used to prepare the nanoparticles of mixed transition-metal spinel oxide, CoFe2O4 and of single metal oxides of zinc, cadmium, and nickel (ZnO, CdO, NiO). The prepared cobalt ferrites had an average crystalline size of 20-40 nm, whereas the single metal oxides prepared in inverse microemulsions had an average crystalline size of 40-90 nm. All the prepared nanoparticles could be characterized using XRD and SEM methods.
