水稻葉面積指數與產量之關係

Studies on the Relationships between Leaf Area Index and Yield in Rice Plants

摘要


以秈稉稻各十五個品種於本所試驗田在自然環境下分一、二期作進行試驗,試驗結果顯示秈稉稻之中、晚熟品種一、二期作之葉面積指數皆於孕穗期最大,而隨著生育期之後移而進減。一期作稉稻早熟品種亦於孕穗期葉面積指數最大,但二期作則移至抽穗期才達到高舉。一、二期作秈稉之早熟品種有些於孕穗期葉面積指數最大,有的於抽穗期達到高舉。 秈稉稻孕穗後各生育時期期作間之葉面積指數皆差異極顯著。稉稻品種間除了二期作乳熟期之外,其他各生育時期皆差異極顯著。秈稻品種間在一期作抽穗後各生育時期皆差異極顯著,而二期作只在孕穗期及抽穗期差異顯著。 一、二期作秈稉稻於孕穗期之葉面積指數與穗數或一穗穎花數具顯著之正相關,而兩期作之秈稉稻抽穗後各生育時期葉面積指數與產量或千粒重亦有顯著之正相關;因此水稻孕穗期至穀粒充實期充分的葉面積指數應可提高一、二期作稻穀產量。

Fifteen Japonica and 15 Indica varieties wore grown under natural conditions at the experiment farm of Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute in Wu-Feng, Taichung, to investigate the reelationships between leaf area index (LAI) at 4 stages (booting, heading, milk and dough-riping) and the yield and yield components. The rsults showed that both the medium and late maturing varieties attained highest LAI value at booting stage and decreased thereafter, but a part of early maturing varieties reached maximum LAI value at heading state. The LAI of Japonica varieties were significantly different at all stages except milk stage of the 2 nd crop. The LAI of Indica varieties at milk and dough-ripe stages of the 1st crop, booting and heading stages of the 2nd crop were also significantly different. The LAI at the stages of heading through dough-ripe showed a significant positive correlation with yield and 1000-gram wight in both crop seasons and for both rice types, suggesting that the sufficient LAI could increase the grain yield.
