稻穀薄層乾燥模式研究

Study on the Thin-layer Drying Model for Rough Rice

摘要


薄層乾燥之基本資料對於穀物加工之乾燥與通風模擬作業十分重要。本研究進行稻穀臺農67號品種於35℃至60℃,五種相對濕度(10~50%)條件之薄層乾燥試驗。數量化乾燥數據係藉由標準相對濕度產生器之改良來進行量測。乾燥用熱風溫度與相對濕度係由兩股氣流混合控制而成。一股為絕對乾燥氣體,另一股為飽和氣流。利用時間控制器使電子天平於乾燥試驗暫停期間進行穀物重量量測作業。天平量測之訊號傳送至數據記錄器再轉換成穀物含水率。所量測之乾燥試驗數據以統計迴歸技術來評估四種薄層乾燥方程式的符合能力。相關係數與殘差圖被採用為模式適稱性之比較標準。比較結果發現具有兩項指數函數的雙成份模式為適合試驗數據之最佳模式,因此可推薦為稻穀薄層乾燥之適用方程式。此模式之四參數與乾燥溫度,相對濕度之關係均已建立量化方程式。

The information of the thin-layer drying is very important to the simulation of drying and aeration systems. In this study, the thin-layer drying tests were executed for rough rice (Variety: Tainung No.67) in the temperatrue range of 35℃ to 60℃ at five relative humidities (10 to 50%). The accurate measurement of thin-layer drying data were taken by the experimental device which modified from the precision humidity generators. The temperature and relative humidity of drying air were controlled by mixing of two air streams. One was absolutely dried and the other was saturated with water vapor. The time controller was adopted to control the weighing action of electronic balance at the temporal resting priod of drying test. The signal of weighing device was transferred to the recorder then converted into numerial values of moisture content for grains. The fitting-agreements of the observed values with the four thin-layer equations were examined by the statistical regression technique. Correlation coefficience and residuals plot were used as criteria for evaluating the fitting-agreement. The two-compartment model with two-term exponential function was found to be the best model to fit the experimental data and was recommended as the thin-layer model for rough rice. The four paramenters of this model were quantified as the function of temperature and relative humidity of drying air.
