水田栽培檳榔心芋全株葉面積之估算Ⅱ.破壞性取樣法

摘要


本研究之主要目的在探討臺灣本地栽培種檳榔心芋於水田栽培時之全株葉面積的簡易估算方法,利用不同時期以破壞性取樣所測量之鮮葉重與乾葉重資料,尋找出一套精確且迅速之簡易方式來估算全株葉面積。本試驗於1991年秋作在臺灣省農業試驗所試驗田區進行,自移植日起至收穫為止,每隔21天逢機調查10株芋植株,測量各株之全株葉面積及葉片鮮、乾重,以建立全株葉面積之估算式;繼之再以1992年秋作及1993年春作於同一栽培地點所取得之20株芋植株逢機樣本,來檢測該估算模式在不同期作下的推測能力。結果顯示,水田栽培檳榔心芋之全株葉面積估算公式,以乾葉重乘上225即可,此相當於每公克葉乾物質重約有225平方公分之葉面積。倘欲以鮮葉重來估算全葉面積,當乾葉重與鮮葉重之比例值等於0.14時,以直接乘以32的估算效果最好,但一旦因期作環境不同造成葉片含水量有差異,則其預測準確度會因葉片乾鮮重之比例改變而受到影響。

This study was made to develop an accurate, simple and rapid method for estimating total plant leaf area of wetland taro 〔Colocasia Esculenta (L.) Schott〕 by using destructive sampling. The experiment was conducted in the fall crop of 1991 at Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI). A total of 10 plants was randomly sampled at 21-day intervals starting at transplanting and ending at harvest. The total leaf area (TA), leaf fresh weight (LFW) and leaf dry weight (LDW) of each plant were measured. Moreover, to test the predictive ability for models of total plant leaf area estimation in different crop seasons, random samples of 20 plants from the experiments in the fall crop of 1992 and spring crop of 1993 at TARI were also used. Results indicated that the leaf dry weight can be used to estimate the total plant leaf area in taro during the whole growth periods under different crop seasons, by a formula of 225×LDW. This is equivalent to 225cm^2 leaf area per gram of leaf dry biomass. The formula of 32×LFW were best fitted to estimate total plant leaf area only when the ratio of LDW to LFW was equal to 0.14. However, the precision of predictive models by using leaf fresh weight would vary with environmental variation under different crop seasons, because the ratio of LDW to LFW may change with water content of leaf.
