小麥蛋白質含量變異之研究

摘要


本研究以五個春小麥品種探討同株內不同穗間,同穗內不同部位的種子蛋白質含量之變異情形,以及蛋白質含量與株高及千粒重等農藝性狀之關係,以供在高蛋白品種育種過程中,分析材料取樣之依據。 試驗結果得知,在同一植株內不同穗間之蛋白質含量亦不同。一般而言,有分蘖長度愈小,蛋白質含量愈高的趨勢。兩者之間有顯著的負相關關係。在同一穗內不同部位間之蛋白質含量並無顯著的差異,第一穗之蛋白質含量最低,變異最小,其值則依穗數之增大而增大。故進行蛋白質分析時,應取發育良好之主穗爲材料,如此可以減少由環境因子所引起的變異。蛋白質含量與千粒重之間有負相關關係存在。

Different varieties of spring wheat was used to study the protein variabilities among different spikes within a plant and among different parts within a spike. It was observed that percent protein varied from spike to spike within a plant. In general, the spike of shorter tiller tended to have higher percent protein; there is a significant negative correlation between the length of tiller and percent protein. The first spike (the longest tiller) showed the smallest variability in percent protein followed by the second, third and fourth spikes. There is no significant differences in percent protein among different parts within a spike. A significant negative correlation was observed between 1,000 kernel weight and percent protein. For protein analysis of wheat, it is recommended to use the best developed first and/or second spikes so that the protein variability can be minimized.
