本省低海拔地區種植低需冷性油桃可行性之研究

摘要

以往油桃在本省試種結果，皆因裂果嚴重而失敗。1996、1997連續兩年調查農業試驗所羅娜種原保存園所保存的27個油桃品種之種質資源特性，資料顯示11個油桃品種（系）並無裂果情形，顯示其適合本省高溫多濕之環境。經過詳細的特性評估，選出Sunblaze、5-40N、90-50CN等三個大果、優質、不裂果，具有商業栽培潛力之品系。

Twenty-seven low-chill nectarine cultivars were evaluated in 1996 and 1997 in Rona fruit germplasm repository (850M ele.). 11 nectarine cultivars and clonal selections shows no fruit cracking characteristic which were very serious in early introduced nectarine cultivars during past 40 years for trial in Taiwan climate condition. Sunbiaze, 5-40N, 90-5OCN having good fruit size and excellent favor show high potential for successful commercial production from late April through middle May before rain season beginning at low land area in Taiwan.
