Palaemon pacificus(Stimpson,1860)is an oceanic palaemonid shrimp.Ahatching and larval development study of this prawn was conducted underlaboratory conditions.Water temperature ranged from 24-26℃ and salinityranged from 33-34‰.Under these conditions,larvae reached the postlarvalstage after 25 days,passing through 12 zoeal stage.Morphological characteristicsare also described and illustrated in detail.
