Enhancement of Tilapia Growth by Dietary Administration of Recombinant Yeast Lysates as a Supplement

摘要


自1992年10月至1993年6月,每個月分别自彰化縣鹿港地區及臺中縣梧棲地區採取文蛤(Meretrix lusoria Roding)樣本。樣本經石蠟切片及染色,結果在文蛤的鰓及消化腺組織發現嗜鹼性的包涵體。此包涵體的形狀在鰓組織多呈長橢圓體,最長的直徑可達100μm;在消化腺組織的包涵體則呈球體或微橢圓體,直徑可達30μm。包涵體經穿透電子顯微鏡觀察,顯示爲類似立克次菌科(Rickettsiaceae)微生物的增殖菌落。鰓組織的立克次菌樣生物多爲長桿狀,菌體的長度在1.0~4.0μm,寬度0.4±0.05μm;消化腺組織的則爲短桿狀,菌體大小爲寬180~350 nm,長度可達950 nm,顯示兩者爲不同的微生物。寄生於消化腺的立克次菌科樣生物,有許多菌落的菌體被噬菌體寄生,此噬菌體呈六角形,直徑約41±1 nm

Hard clams,Meretrix lusoria Roding,were obtained monthly from farms inChangua and Wuchi,Taiwan from October 1992 through June 1993.The clam'stissue was fixed,embedded,sectioned,and stained by routine methods.Upon histopathological examination,basophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions in the gill anddigestive gland were observed,respectively.The inclusion in the gill shown ovalin shape and the long axis was up to 100μm,however,in the digestive gland wasspherical and with a diameter up to 30μm.Transmission electron micrographs(TEM)revealed those inclusions were micro-colony of microorganisms which belongto the family Rickettsiaceae.Morphology of the micro-organisms in the gill epithelium showed long rod-shaped,measured approximately 1.0-4.0μm on the longaxis by 0.4±0.05μm along the short axis,and in the digestive gland presented shortrod-shaped with 180-350 nm in diameter and the long axis up to 950 nm.It suggestedtwo kind micro-organisms parasited in the hard clam.Rickettsiaceae microorganisms found in digestive gland epithelium associated with phages were observed.Profile of phage virions,at high magnification,showed hexagonal with 41±1 nmin diameter.
