Thornfish Terapon jarbua(Forsskal)juveniles were examined for the growth rate,behavioral response and morphological alteration after 60 days exposure to 1 and 5 μg/lTBT(tributyltin).The body weight of juvenile thornfish was 0.43±0.08 g to 0.24±0.03,0.19±0.04 gafter 60 days exposure to 0,1 and 5 μg/l TBT,respectively.Dose-dependent decreaseboth in C-startle responses(to flash light stimuli)and the swimming activity,and dosedependent muscle histopathological lesions(atrophy and necrosis)were observed in TBTexposed thornfish.
