Fish Fauna of Coral Reef Waters in the Centre & North of Nansha Islands
南沙群島中北部珊瑚礁海域魚類區系
摘要
對四種屬於橈足亞綱、管口目、魚虱科的台灣新記録種加以描述：寄生於斑海鯰[Arius maxulatus(Thungurg)]上的Hermilius pyriventris（Heller,1865）；寄生於白帶魚[Trichiurus lepturns(Linnaeus)]上的Metacaligus uruguayensis（Thomsen,1949）；寄生於四指馬鱍[Eleutheronema tetradactylum(Shaw)]的Parapetalus hirsutus(Bassett-Smith,1898)，及寄生於烏鯧[Parastromateus niger(Bloch)]的Synestius caliginus（Steenstrupand Lutken,1861）。其中的H.pyriventris,P.hirsutus及S.caliginus，在南中國海域的海水魚上被發現過，而M.uruguayensis則為首次在太平洋海域被發現。

Four species in four genera of caligid copepods(Siphonostomatoida)are recorded forthe first time from marine fishes of Taiwan.They are Hermilius pyriventris(Heller,1865)from Arius maxulatus(Thunburg);Metacaligus uruguayensis(Thomsen,1949)from Trichiuruslepturus(Linnaeus);Parapetalus hirsutus(Bassett-Smith,1898)from Eleutheronematetradactylum(Shaw);and Synestius caliginus(Steenstrup and Lutken,1861)from Parastromateusniger(Bloch).While H.pyriventris,P.hirsutus and S.caliginus have beenreported from fishes of the South China Sea,M.uruguayensis is recorded for the first timefrom the Pacific Ocean.
