The intertidal fishes from a rocky tide pool of Wanli in the vicimty of Keelung, northern Taiwan was studied. A total of 7590 specimens belonging to 179 species in 42 families were collected during January 1975 and January 1976 and the poriod between March 1977 and December 1977. Among them, Stethojulis interrupta, Liza macrolepis, Abudefduf bengalensis, Asterropteryx semipunctatus, Girella melanichthys, Siganus oramin and Abudefduf vaigiensis are more abundant in the pool. Besides, the following 10 species with asterisks are the first records from Taiwan: Uroptcrygius micropterus, Lycodontis thyrsoideus, Epinephclus maculatus, Halichocres kallochroma, Istiblennius striatomaculatus, Mimoblennius atrocinctus, Plagiotremus tapeinosoma, Austrolethops wardi, Zonogobius boreus and Luciogobius saikainensis
