本研究為探討飼料中以豆粉(SBM)取代魚粉(FM0)對圓眼燕魚稚魚成長、體組成及血液指標之影響。飼料中魚粉蛋白以豆粉分別取代0% (FM0)、20% (SBM20)、40%(SBM40)、60% (SBM60)、80% (SBM80)及100% (SBM100),共分為六組,實驗飼料分別餵予初重6.59 ± 0.05 g之燕魚稚魚,每組飼料三重覆,於循環水系統中,控制水溫29±1˚C飼養六週。餵食實驗結束後,增重率、飼料效率及蛋白質效率以餵食FM0、SBM20、SBM40及SBM60飼料組之燕魚顯著(p < 0.05)高於餵食SBM80及SBM100飼料兩組。全魚體一般成份分析於各組間均無顯著差異。餵食SBM80及SBM100飼料兩組之燕魚紅血球計數及血紅素濃度顯著低於其餘各組。實驗結果顯示飼料中豆粉可取代魚粉蛋白至60%而不影響燕魚之成長及血液指標。
The study was aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary fishmeal (FM) replacement by soybean meal (SBM) on growth, body composition and hematology for round batfish Platax orbicularis. Dietary FM protein was replaced by SBM at 0% (FM0), 20% (SBM20), 40% (SBM40), 60% (SBM60), 80% (SBM80) and 100% (SBM100). Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of batfish (mean initial weight: 6.59 ± 0.05 g) in a recirculating rearing system at 29 ± 1˚C for 6 weeks. Weight gain, feed efficiency and protein efficiency ratio of fish fed FM0, SBM20, SBM40 and SBM60 diets were significantly higher (P < 0.05) than those of fish fed SBM80 and SBM100 diets. Whole body proximate composition was not significantly different (p > 0.05) among all dietary treatments. Fish fed SBM80 and SBM100 diets showed lower red blood cell count and hemoglobin concentration than other dietary treatments. The results indicated that up to 60% FM0 protein can be replaced by SBM in batfish diet without detrimental effects on growth and hematological responses.
