A Preliminary Study on the Catch Composition of Fishing Rafts and Sampans and the Distributions of Released Species in the Coastal Waters of Southwestern Taiwan

臺灣西南海域漁筏和舢舨漁船漁獲組成與放流物種分布熱點之初探

摘要

This study collected logbook data regarding the fishing raft and sampan fishing activity and fishery resource structure in the waters to the southwest of Taiwan, for analyzing the catch composition and distributions of released species in that area’s coastal sea. The results can serve as a reference for planning and adjusting the released species and the release locations in the future. In this study, the fishing vessels caught 30,465 kg of fish, which were classified into 145 species. The three predominant species were Pomadasys kaakan (13.56%), Trichiurus lepturus (10.67%), and Portunus pelagicus (8.69%). The released species contributed 3.10% of the total catch in the waters to the southwest of Taiwan; the dominant species were Lutjanus argentimaculatus (1.28%), Rhabdosargus sarba (0.85%), and Pagrus major (0.37%). In terms of distributions of released species, L. argentimaculatus was mainly distributed in the coastal waters of Jhongyun Fishing Port; R. sarba was mainly distributed in the coastal waters of Liuqiu; P. major and Epinephelus coioides were distributed in the coastal waters of Mituo; Acanthopagrus schlegelii, Eleutheronema rhadinum, Trachinotus blochii, and Lates calcarifer were mainly distributed in the coastal waters of Qieding; Acanthopagrus latus was mainly distributed in the coastal waters of Ziguan; and Mugil cephalus was distributed in the mouth of Kao Ping River.

本研究蒐集臺灣西南海域漁筏及舢舨漁船漁業活動動態及漁業資源結構資料，以瞭解該地區漁獲組成及放流物種分布熱點，作為此地區未來規劃調整放流物種與地點之參考。結果顯示，標本戶共記錄145種漁獲物種，漁獲總重量約30,465公斤，前三個最主要優勢種為星雞魚(13.56%)、白帶魚(10.67%)及遠海梭子蟹(8.69%)。十大放流物種數量少，僅佔總漁獲量3.10%，其中以銀紋笛鯛(1.28%)、黃錫鯛(0.85%)及嘉鱲(0.37%)的數量最多。在放流物種分布熱點方面，銀紋笛鯛主要分布在中芸漁港沿岸海域；黃錫鯛以小琉球附近海域為主；嘉鱲與點帶石斑則分布在彌陀沿岸；黑鯛、四絲馬鮁、布氏鯧鰺及尖吻鱸主要分布在茄萣沿岸海域；黃鰭鯛主要分布在梓官沿岸海域；烏魚則分布於高屏溪口海域。
