公民新聞、地方認同與公民參與:以政戰新聞系網路新聞課程為例

Citizen Journalism, Place Identification, and Civic Engagement: Using the FHK Online News Course as an Example

摘要


為了紮根軍事播教育和增加學生新聞實作能力,政戰學院新聞學系於2014年起,於媒介實務課程中設立網路新聞組,並與公共電視Peopo公民新聞平台結合,讓學生扮演校園記者參與公民新聞(citizen journalism)的報導實作,一方面藉此提升學生瞭解社區事務的意願,提高軍隊公共關係經營一環中的「公民參與」(civic engagement)的興趣;另一方面想藉由新聞報導的實作過程,激發學生對於學校所位處的地理環境上的地方認同。本研究因此想要瞭解,究竟軍校新聞實務課教育如何透過公民新聞的發佈,增加對公民參與的意願,以及對地方的認同感程度為何?研究發現,透過公民新聞的實踐,學生的採訪經驗與涉入程度愈豐富,愈能確實提升了賦權感,同時也對採訪的地方產生認同感。並且本研究在驗證心理賦權與地方認同對於公民新聞涉入與公民參與之中介效果方面,結果顯示心理賦權與地方認同在兩者間具有完全中介效果,此研究結果意謂的關鍵是在過程中能引導學生提升賦權感與增進地方的情感連結,如此更有利於深化其公民參與的行動能力。

To enhance students' news report experiences, Department of Journalism in Fu Hsing Kang College has cooperated with PeoPo Citizen Journalism Platform from Public Television Service and established the Online News Course since 2014. This course is intended to be a testbed for the military Journalism students to boost their willingness of civic engagement and place identification to the local community through the participation of civic journalism. This research explores the relationships between the action of citizen journalism, the willingness of civic engagement, and the degree of place identification of participated students. The result shows that the more of students' involvement of community affair reporting, the better of their psychological empowerment and place identification to local community.
