水解法製造顏料級二氧化鈦之研究

Study on the Preparation of Pigment-grade Rutile Form Titanium Dioxide from Crude Titanium Tetrachloride by Aqueous Hydrolysis Method

摘要


本篇研究主要分兩階段,在第一階段中首先確立粗製四氯化鈦純化方法的適當條件,如硫化亞鐵之用量、反應溫度及時間等,實驗所得四氯化鈦的純度大於99%,囘收率約90%。第二階段完成純化後四氯化鈦經由低溫水解法酸解製造高純度顏料級密晶型二氧化鈦之程序方法,有關鹽酸用量、結晶種子的取用量及水解反應加熱時間等因素對二氧化鈦產率之影響,已在本實驗中確立,所得密晶型二氧化鈦的純度大於99%,其產率亦在95%以上。

The optimum conditions for purification of crude titanium tetrachloride by hydrogen sulfide method have been established. The recovery and purity of titanium tetrachloride are higher than 90% and 99%, respectively. Preparation of rutile form pigment-grade titanium dioxide from purified titanium tetrachloride is carried out by aqueous hydrolysis method. Effects of the amount of hydrochloric acid, seed and heating time for hydrolysis on the yield of titanium dioxide have been examined. The purity of the final prepared rutile form titanium dioxide is higher than 99% and the yield is more than 95%.
